Last year, Gantner Instruments launched the new data logger Q.monixx. This device is perfectly suitable for a reliable process monitoring and offers a high functionality together with the well-known quality of Gantner Instruments. The Q.monixx communicates over RS485, Ethernet or an internal modem. For this purpose, eight analog universal inputs, eight digital inputs (frequency, status, counter), four digital outputs, two relay outputs, six RS485 interfaces and one SDI 12 interface are available.
The measured data can be recorded by four configurable logger functions. It can be saved using the high-speed USB port or the SD card slot. Furthermore, it is possible to synchronize multiple systems in one site via a GPS interface. As of now, the new testcon version 6.2 is available for the usage on the Q.monixx. An architecture pattern for the testcon application design on the Q.monixx is given here.
